Serving Granite Staters as State Senator, Governor, and now U.S. Senator has been the honor of my life.
As Senator I’ve worked across party lines to get results on the top priorities of hard-working Granite Staters, introducing more than 50 bipartisan bills on issues like providing tax credits for innovative companies and supporting veterans as they transition back to civilian life. And, when the Senate was on the verge of repealing the Affordable Care Act, I cast one of the deciding votes to protect it.
But pundits are already saying I’m one of the most vulnerable Democrats up for reelection this cycle — not surprising since we only won by 1,017 votes in 2016. That’s why I need you with me in this race from day one.
The future is bright, but we have critical work ahead of us to expand access to affordable health care and expand economic opportunities for hard-working families. And, importantly, we must take urgent, comprehensive action to tackle this pandemic and get our economy back on track.
