Don Bolduc is desperately trying to run from years of spreading the Big Lie, but he can’t hide from the video receipts.
Just one month ago on August 14, during a debate hosted by the far-right group Government Integrity Project, Bolduc was asked about whether or not he believed the 2020 election was stolen and he said, “I signed a letter with 120 other generals and admirals saying that Trump won the election. And dammit I stand by my letter. I’m not switching horses, baby.”

“Don Bolduc has spent the entire campaign touting the Big Lie, and he can’t hide from that record. He has even said that he supports overturning the results of the 2024 election if it doesn’t go his way,” said Maggie for NH spokesperson Kevin Donohoe. “A word salad on Fox will not erase his record of election denial.”
On August 16, he doubled down on that claim during a radio debate, saying, “I will tell you that I signed a letter with 124 admirals and generals that stipulated, I believed, that the election had fraud and that I concurred with President Trump’s assessment of it. And I do not change my mind on that.”
Those weren’t the only times that Bolduc pushed the Big Lie. Bolduc has been saying the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump for well over a year.
See for yourself:
AUGUST 2022: Bolduc Said, “I Signed A Letter With 120 Other Generals And Admirals Saying That Trump Won The Election. And Dammit, I Stand By My Letter.” BOLDUC: “Okay. Thank you. Thanks. So I signed a letter with 120 other generals and admirals saying that Trump won the election. And dammit, I stand by my letter I’m not switching horses, baby. This is it. Hassan wants to federalize. We got to keep the federal government out of state elections, don’t we? Yes, we do. State of New Hampshire has some work to do. So if you’re a representative, representative want, you know, running for election, a senator. Senator, running for election. Please do us all a favor. Fix the unconstitutionality of voting machines. Fix IDs, fix college students who don’t live here from voting, fix, fix balloting. It’s out of control.”[Bolduc, Government Integrity Project Debate, 8/14/22] (VIDEO)
AUGUST 2022: Bolduc Said He Concurred with President Trump’s Assessment of 2020 Election And “I Do Not Change My Mind On That.” “I will tell you that I signed a letter with 124 admirals and generals that stipulated, I believed, that the election had fraud and that I concurred with President Trump’s assessment of it. MAY 2021: Bolduc Signed A Letter With More Than 100 Military Colleagues “Challenging The Integrity Of The 2020 Presidential Election And Questioning President Joe Biden’s Mental Acuity.” “Retired Brig. Gen. Donald Bolduc, the only announced Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate next year, joined more than 100 of his military colleagues this week in a scathing open letter challenging the integrity of the 2020 presidential election and questioning President Joe Biden’s mental acuity. […] The letter says state legislatures have the power to determine and identify legal votes. ‘Today, many are calling such commonsense controls ‘racist’ in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections. Using racial terms to suppress proof of eligibility is itself a tyrannical intimidation tactic.’ The letter goes on to urge support for ‘politicians who will act to counter Socialism, Marxism and Progressivism, support our Constitutional Republic, and insist on fiscally responsible governing while focusing on all Americans, especially the middle class, not special interest or extremist groups, which are used to divide us into warring factions.” [WMUR, 5/13/21]
Bolduc Said He Would “Walk The Walk” About Not Certifying The 2024 Election Results. NEW YORKER: “Let’s go back to my theory about how you’re one of these people who is very sincere in your beliefs, because we saw with Republican Senators that a lot of them made noises about, Oh, maybe there’s some voter fraud. But almost all of them voted to certify the election. It seems like you’re saying to the people of New Hampshire that if you are elected in 2022, and are serving in 2024, when certification comes before the Senate again, you wouldn’t just talk the talk—you would walk the walk. Is that accurate?” BOLDUC: “Oh, absolutely it’s accurate. Everybody I talk to believes that in me. They tell me. They go, “I believe you’re going to do what you’re doing. I believe that you speak from the heart. I believe that you believe in God, family, community, country, that you believe our institutions have been undermined over the last fifty years, and we fundamentally have to get people back in office that come from the people, that relate to the people, and, oh, by the way, don’t want to be career politicians and will come home after they serve two terms.” They’re absolutely right.” [The New Yorker, 10/14/21]
